[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A osprey takes off out of its nest located along the Bitterroot River between Missoula and Lolo. I've been watching these Osprey for most of the summer and last night I finally decided to stop and take some photos. Exposure was tough with the bright sky in the background but I was excited to get one of them in flight. It was getting late so I had to use a much higher iso and a slower shutter speed than I would have liked.

Hi John,
The bright background helps imo as I think it makes the bird stand out, the head is sharp with the blurring of the wings shows the speed and power in those wings - nice catch

WOW great capture like the white BG
maybe a tighter crop would be nice
