Hi John,

Good action shot with good colours.
Looks like the focus slipped slightly to the big guy behind the tackle.

I’ve taken tons of rugby shots over the past year and I’ve found some useful settings searching the internet.
Especially I found the custom function Cfn. IV-1 useful when set to 2. It separates the auto focus from the shutter release by using the AF-ON button to focus.
Also, I’d suggest center weighted metering.
