[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One Horse Lake just south of Lolo Peak in the Bitterroot Wilderness Area just south of Missoula. This small lake is just past Carlton Lake. A polarizer was used to bring color into the sky as this was a mid day shot with direct sun from overhead.

Hi John,

Nice this landscape. I like the contrast of colors and landscape playback. My congratulations.
Best regards,
Adrian

Nice composition The old wood contrasts nicely with the living trees Good us of polarizer TFS
warm regards
David

John, good creative use of the Polarizer! The saturation and contrast make the photo in addition to the imagery and imagination utilizing the logs in the foreground to premise the entire photo. Great scenic shot!

On the other hand the contrast is great in this as is the colour saturation.. The logs in the FG are a little over exposed and I would suggest a brush with the 'burn' tool.
Nice choice of f9 to maximise the sharpness and DOF..

Nice landscape.
