Red Rock Canyon

About 15 miles west of Las Vegas, the park is home to the Red Rock Escarpment, a 3,000 foot-high mass of multicolored pinnacles and boulders jutting from the canyon floor, feral horses and burros, as well as various species of native wildlife, including bighorn sheep and coyotes.

Good juxtaposition of the joshua tree forefrond one side and mountains in the other visually powerful result.
