This was shot with a borrowed Fuji S3. Nice camera but 2 different battery types was at times a problem. I liked the way it recorded the detail in both the water and the snow, but still missed some shadow detail. Also if I had shot this on a tripod, I could have bracketed the shadows and sky better doing a "merge" im the new Photoshop Cs. Also the detail would have been a little sharper since I shot this wide open at 1/45 second.
Some sharpening and the "Velvia" plug-in which helps saturate the color to reflect what Fuji Velvia slide film would look like. |

Hello Norman,
This is a beautifully composed shot! I like the pov and the wonderfully relected images in the still water. There ippaers to be a slight hint of sunshine in the upper trees which gives a subtle change of colour. What a pity you have no sky! Still, overall a great shot!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
