[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The picture of this bicycle and its shadows were taken in Reno, Nevada. It stands out against the sun almost like silhoutte, the shadows and bicycle contrasting against a light colored sidewalk. It is unfotunate that the building across the street is casting a shadow on the street. The bicycle is pad locked against a traffic sign post.

My kind of shot Andre'. Love bicycles in any form. I find they are such an interesting subject. I like very much the strong shadows. Don't worry about the building's shadow, it's there and it's part of the scene. I only wish there was more space on the right, but perhaps the composition didn't allow it. I like the sun's reflection on the bar. Good choice for black and white. Very nicely done.
One of my favourites.

I like that kind od photography in B&W. Here the shadow of the bike is very interesting, the composition too. Just one thing, the black at the top right is a bit boring but I know we don't do exactly what we want in photography.

I'm always attracted to bicycle pitures. Dont wory about the building it adds an extra dimension and creates a background fro teh highlights on the saddle and the top of the frame.

Beautiful shadow of the bicycle and exactly perfect. Nice sun ray on the bar. You are right the black background is a bit distracting and maybe it could have been lighten but otherwise a really nice picture. Well done!

this is a good high contrast photo and it's excellent in b&w. i particularly like the shadows. must have been taken in mid-afternoon because the angle of the shadows are not slanted.
