Frozen Brass

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a brass door with two panic hardware attached to it. It is well polished and shiny but not interesting if you leave it as an actual image. I decided to experiment on it.
PP Work: Adjust levels control; Increase saturation; Sharpen by USM; Remove noise; Duplicate layer; Darken the glass area in the background layer; Flatten layers; Open >Filter >Stylize >Find edges >Adjust levels control to fine tune the lines; Flatten layers; Erased any black lines showing on the surface of the brass; Duplicate layers again; Open Filter >Stylize >Solarize, but applied very small amont of solarization; Flatten layer; Increase saturation; Adjust levels control again to fine tune contrast; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting. |

What great pp work you have done on the brass door Andre. So many different patterns have come out of hiding! Brass does this and your pp work has certainly emphasied it. It's a good job, well done.
