[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While walking along the bank of Truckee River in Reno, Nevada, I hppen to see this store selling kites. I like the colors so I took a picture of it.

PP Work: Adjust levels control; Increase saturation; Duplicate layer then darken and blur the dooorway to the shop, erased the areas I do not want to come out dark and blurred; Flatten layer; Sharpen; Remove noise; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting.

Hi Andre,
Nice shot. The compo looks good...more so because you didn't center the kite. The bush on the lower right bugs me a bit, but, what can you do other than chopping it down, right? And who carries an axe? ;P The kite up against the railing is nice with the details. And, I like how the details also show through the fabric of the kite. I guess it's what probably caught your eye. Nice job.

I agree with Richard's very thoughtful critique, it's nice, only that I feel that the main attraction (the kite) could be closer...
Not sure if a tight crop would work, so including all the other elements (bush and all) may have been the best decision, after all...
You've made the best of difficult photographic circumstances...

very colourful. Unfortunately the shrub on the right bottom is a problem. Other than that, nice job.
