[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo is a composite of two pictures. The woman on the sidewalk againsthe concrete block wall is a photo taken in Reno, Nevada. The painting on the wall without the letterings is an art work of mine done in acrylic. Before I combined it with the Reno photograph, I put on the title of my painting on top and added the text below.

PP Work: Adjust levels control; Increase saturation; Duplicate layer to darken the masonry wall, then erase the area of the woman on the foreground; Flatten layers; Open the layer of the painting (PP Work on the painting has been done previously); Moved painting to block wall layer; Resize the painting layer and position in behind the woman; erased the area of the woman that overlaps with the painting; Adjust opacity and fill of painting; Merge layers; Sharpen; Remove noise; Crop; Frame; Reduce size for posting.

Very nice work, André! You fooled me big time because I thought the painting was on the wall. It's a great idea to merge the two pictures. I might have cropped a bit the left side to leave only the brick wall, but again, I like it the way it is. Great job!

I love the composition, André !
So simple and graphical, a great play with shadows and lights.
The woman's arm is on the same diagonal as the shadow ...
Great shot !

Very nice picture, nicely composed. The diagonal shadows adds something to the beauty of the picture

Very nice composite image, Andre, and extremelly well done because we would not know it if you had not told us in your note. I like all of the elements in it - the woman walking caught in movement, the shadow forming a triangular, your artwork on the wall. Well done!

A nice one Andre. I like very much the shabows, it give an ambiance. I would give a little more light and accentuate the contrast, just a suggestion Andre. Well a goo subject.

very nice compo Andre :)
good shadows

Hi Andre, a beautiful composite. Magnificent work. An artwork made of an artwork !

Marleen

It is marvellous how you have combined both of your artful skills. I commend you for this good work. Very good PP work Andre'. The big diagonal shadow makes this scene extra interesting. My only suggestion would be to soften the edges of your artwork. Perhaps use a soft eraser brush at 50-75%. It is a good theatrical idea to have your name up on the wall. You have become famous in Reno :)

Olá André!
Pretty work of composition that results in an image with rectilineas lines and obliquas.
Felicidades

Hi Andre, this is street photography with a little touch of graphism or ISO-graphy! i'm beginning to like this style of yours - "the Andre way" kind of shots! :)

Hi Andre,
Very cool montage. Nice composition. I like how you have her entering the frame. Also, nice timing...I enjoy how her hand is angled in a diagonal like the shadow on the wall...speaking of the shadow, I think it's a good thing it's there or your shot would feel too right side heavy where all the action is. Well seen.
Take care.
Richard

nice composition André!
great work,
FRed

Hey that's a great idea Andre! I'll try it one day too. I didnt realise it until I read ur note. Well done! Kudos on the creative idea! Bravo!

Beautiful picture Andre, with the colors on the wall and the shadow, and the woman walking by, perfect all the way. I like it a lot. I just see it, your name on the wall, letters missing give the impression it was writen on the wall. Very clever my friend, I like that.
Best regards
Guy

Inspiration.

Very, very nice work, Andre! So, you are an artist too?! Such interesting shapes here, nice lighting, movement, and compo! You've done well!

Beautiful colors and great composition! Absolutely well done! Bravo! Michel

Oookay... so here's my theory of art question to you as an architect and photographer: wouldn't you like to do your own real graffiti or street art? Wouldn't you like this pic to be really on that wall? I personally find this appealing despite the fact that my 'civilized' part tells me not to 'vandalize' other peoples' property...

I am really interested in an honest answer, my friend!

;)
