[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the wooden wheel of a coach pulled by four horses. It is an all white coach, driven by a uniformed horseman/driver. This coach is for rent for parties, weddings, birthdays and other special occasions. I took this picture to play with composition on the wheel and to see how I can show the other wheel. I thought it came out nice but not as dynamic as I thought it would be.

Excellent composition, Andre! The repetition of wheels is intriguing, everything captured with great detail... Very very nice indeed!
Regards,
Pablo -

It is still a great composition, Andre'.

The fact that the spokes are square in cross section near the hub but round on the other end, "softens" the edge of the field of view, and force the eye to focus on the middle of the hub, which has a nice metallic shine. (Of course, the softening was partly done by PP, but it still works very well.)

This is the same effect as what I noticed on Claudia Lazar's duck portrait here. And some funny detail: the zip tie is nice. :)

Great image!

Very nicely done, André. I like these pictures that show us only details of an object because it becomes a bit abstract at the same time. This one has some very interesting lines & geometric shapes in it. Great colours & sharpness. Well done!

A simple and yet poweful composition. Nice pattern and play with the other wheel. The vignetting is a nice addition too.

Btw, are you keen on the D200? It's coming out real soon!! I'm really keen for it but I'll wait until mid of next year to decide seriously.

This really is a great composition, André. The excentric axis works perfectly here. Seems to be a modern wheel (are those disc-brakes ??). TFS.
