[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this while traveling at the NM museum of art on vacation a couple years ago. Since it was part of a family holiday, I really didn't have the ability to manage my photo hours and this was taken at about mid-afternoon. Usually I don't like such strong lighting, but I think it works here to bring out the face and the contour of the arm.

The POV was partially creative and partially necessary; there are 2 air-conditioning compressors behind the statue.

I wish I was able to get more of the legs of the statue, but with the angle I had to shoot (I was laying flat on the ground) and the lens I was using, I wasn't able to get more of it. I still like this shot regardless.

Edit 5/15/09:

I just posted this to the Friday Theme 2009/05/15 TL Archive. I had a really hard time deciding between this photo and this one. Ultimately, I decided on this one just because it's older and hasn't been viewed for a while.
