[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My friend LD has a wonderful rustic cabin beside a lake north of Santa Fe. No running water, electricity and an outdoor privy.All by choice as LD likes it this way.

LD built the cabin and much of the furniture.
It is indeed rustic. One lights candles of an evening and certainly doesn't waste water as it has to be hauled from some distance. Cold mornings where one wakes up and hurries to make the fire to warm up the place and to have a fire to to make a pot of coffee. Long underwear comes in handy.

Elk and deer in the meadow below in the morning and evening. Birds in the feeder.
It is a charmer and suits LD to a T!!

Hi Joni,
Looks like my kinda place! That bed is priceless and worth its weight in gold after a long day of hiking among the wildlife and hauling water back to this beauty. LD is a rich man indeed.
