[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During the annual Taos New Mexico Indian Pow Wow, I met a few Native American Indians who were willing to let me make photographs of them. Many of the Indians were quite sensitive about letting anyone “take” photos of them. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the specific tribe this gentleman comes from because it’s been a while back. If my memory is correct, I think he was either Blackfoot or Crow. Anyone with other info on his possible tribe, please let me know.

Wow! What a beautiful portrait! Great job and welcome to TL! You're off to a great start!

Best Wishes,
Steve

A very striking, colorful and well composed portrait. This reminds me of the best of the paintings by George Catlin. What a wonderful image for your first photo on TL.

Lois

Wow...This picture is very impressive.

I am entranced with Native sentinels, so this picture is just perfect for me. Do you have any information on this piece at all it would be very much appreciated.

Maybe i'm being bias, but I think this photograph is just beautiful. I am curious to know what tribe the gentleman is from, regardless the colors and saturation, contrast, brightness are all seemingly flawless. This is just an excellent shot.

Great job, hope to see more of your photos!

Another amazing portrait Jim, perfectly focused, great detail and the colors are vivid. I specially like the tight frame, so the viewer can concentrate on the subject. Overall a very impressive shot!
Regards,
Vassilis

P.S. Thank you for your kind comments.
