[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken with a wide angled lens using the /|\ pattern. Here the lower cross is the vertical bar, & I've let the adjacent perspectives fall where they will, either side. If anyone hates it, they're welcome to spend a half hour on a good workshop.

The city of Alberquerque is 5,300 feet above sea level (higher than the 'mile high' city of Denver), so yes, the skies are an intense blue, due to both altitude, & a polarizing filter. More information on San Felipe de Neri Church, shown here, & built in 1793, is available at Wikipedia.

Hello Chris,
Fantastic blue sky to showcase this well exposed church. The wide angle lens was put to good use and I don't see the need to correct the handsome tilt, the crosses are attractive. best regards...
Danilo

Hello Chris,

A truly interesting pov.
Even the style of the building looks religious; the two towers give the impression of two arms being held aloft.
Nicely saturated and good shadows.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Very cool shot! I really like the super deep saturation of the sky, the sharp crisp details of the spires and bell towers. Good POV.

Question - why do some of the whites on the right-hand bell tower look blue? I'm guessing because they're in shadow?

Hello Chris,

Great perspective, beautiful subject, wonderful colors!
Congratulations and TFS
Sergio

Beautiful satured sky, lights and shadows.

Hi Chris,

I totally agree with not changing the perspective in this type of shot. I think it actually adds something to the presentation. Your POV with the multiple crosses contrasted by the rich blue sky is wonderful. Very nice composition.

Best regards,
Werner

I love the effect of the wide angle Chris.. Really great shot. The deeply saturated colors are the stand-out feature for me ... the sky is really great.
