This photo was taken at one of the local parks in Eugene Oregon called Alton Baker. The park was full of people yesterday due to the wonderful weather. This winter has been a very wet one and we all just couldn't wait to get out in sun!
My son and I came across these two ladies who seemed to be having a great time "walking" their snakes just like I would be walking my dog. What was so great was they actually allowed my son and I to hold the snakes around our necks just like them and I have to say what a thrill that was! These two ladies were very knowledgeable and surely knew what they were doing....Snakes are not slimy....they have the softest skin....I envy them!!! I posted this photo just because it represents another aspect of daily life in Eugene, Oregon....I hope you enjoy.... |
