[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo from a past trip to the beach, I was going through my old photos to see what I had still that I could play with this morning since I couldn't sleep.

I found this photo of my daughter Malia walking Rosie on the beach in Newport, Oregon, early one morning. We had camped out the previous night, and Malia and I were up early to walk on the beach and enjoy the early morning light glowing on the cliffs.

Photo: Aligned horizon, Cropped, Brightness and Contrast, Resized, USM 60%

Hello Lori.

A very good shot, nice touch to show the deep reflected colours, also black tar- like. The gradient sky adds so much, well done and have a good weekend.

nice compo here Lori
i like the colors, the brown from the big rock splitting the blue is great

nice work

Beautiful light in this phhoto. I like the wet look of the sand, it shows very well here. Also the delicate light on the cliffs in the background is very nice.
Of course your daughter Malia and the dog Rosie add the human and animal touch to what would have been just a landscape. It makes for a very nice composition. Well done.
Cheers Joan
Thanks for visiting my photos.

Lori,
WOW, GREAT blue glassy reflection of the beach. The silhouettes are magnificent.
The sunlit rocks really are a nice addition to this shot. Good notes. Great work!

Hi Lori, what a good early morning colours, especially with the new sun shining on the cliffs, making great silhouettes of Malia and Rosie. I like seeing the surf breaking further out past the cliffs too. Well done,
Janice
