Ok.....I know some of you are saying, "This photo should really be on Trek Nature". I have tried posting on Trek Nature and it seems I can't get anyone to respond to my postings there. I learn much more on Treklens and Trekearth so please...good or bad I need to get advice on this type of photo. I take a lot of photos of the ocean, tidepools, and well...any kind of "Nature Shot" I can get the darn animals to sit still for....They can be so "diva like". Always wanting to do there own thing and not what I want them to do...Just who do they think they are...so what if Mother Nature created them.....I can make them a "Star"! hahahaha
Ok seriously....this photo was shot at the Yaquina Head tidepools and well...I thought this little guy or girl looked like they were just doing a bit of relaxing in the sea kelp and lounging against a barnacle encrusted rock. I can just see it raising a bottle of Corona (beer) and wearing a pair of sunglasses even though it was a very gray day. Please visit this place in Newport, Oregon. You will be amazed and find yourself talking like Jacques Cousteau....but that is ok....because he is one of my all time favorite men.....next to Ansel Adams. hee hee!
Take care!

Interresting photo. Good sharpness and details.
That orange star in the middle of all that grey really stands out.
I probably would have cropped a bit on the right so that the star is not in the center (IMHO).

Dear Bettina
I didn't know who was Ansel Adams, thanks for the discovery.
I love this star. We can find your great sense of the colors. But there is something more, more than the sea atmosphere, like a character of cartoon.
