I took this photo at one of the many, many, many car shows I've been to with my husband Mike. He says this is as his best guess a mid 30's Dodge or Plymouth, highly modified, with a matching trailer. There were several of these cars with matching trailers. Very cute I thought, and of course in my favorite colors so I had to take a photo. It was quite difficult to get any photo without people in it!
Cropped out people,
increased contrast and mid-tones,
sharpened
cloned out white spots |

Wasn't there a song - "Purple People Eater"? What a lot of time and effort (and money) must go into making these cars a work of art. And what a trailor too. An interesting shot here. Hey, even the motor is painted purple. Wow!!! Thank for showing this Lori. Well done.
how did they do this?? wonderful colors with really creative modifications....looks so feminine and sexy...haha...lovely shot, great angle!
The purple is really good, I like the composition and the balance between dark and colorful areas.

I like cars. I like how you have this one lined up with its trailer; nice line and movement. It's hard to figure out how much of a car you want in the image, but, you did a good job. Only thing I would've like to see different was for you to zoom past that pole to the right. In my opinion, I think it's a little bit of a distraction and doesn't really add to the sense of place. Also, I think there's a bit of a blue cast to your image; it's noticeable on the sidewalk and headlamp of that very sweet car. Speaking of place, the background is just as interesting as the foreground; like the moldy old bricks and wooden doors! PP work looks good. Glad you got rid of the people, although, they would've gave it a sense of an "event" going on, they would've been a distraction. Good work! Thanks for sharing!
