| Yaquina Bay bridge’s dramatic, high-soaring steel arch makes this one of the most photographed of McCullough’s bridges. It is high enough for boats to pass under and has a combination of both steel and concrete arches. At each end of the bridge is a pedestrian plaza with stairways leading to observation areas. From the north end of the bridge, a fairly steep street leads down to Bay Boulevard and Newport’s Bayfront. |
