[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this at the beach in Newport Oregon. I thought I'd post this on the one year anniversary of joining this site. Purple is my favorite color and I loved the swirls in the sand, especially around the rocks.

I've loved posting photos here and have learned a lot from all of you. Thank you to all for your critiques and helpful comments. I think I've learned the most from your photos and workshops. Thanks so much!

I like this composition with soft colors and lines that converge to that contrasting rock. Great composition and an excellent choice for celebrating your 1 year.

It have something special on that movement. I like the stone. It create all the effect. Focus point and waves around! Color is soft! One year :) Happy Birthday!

Well, to my eyes this is an alien vessel slicing through the skies!!
Beautiful soft hues on sand and mostly, thanks for the gem's location on a photographic sweet spot.
