[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This rose is also from Portland Rose Show in Oregon. This rose, though with scattered petals had its own beauty. The whites on the petals were very bright and the leaves were dark. T wanted to try a handheld at shutter speed of 30/1s to get a bit of more ambient without having to use the flash.
I held my breath and took two captures, and both were almost identical, and looked a little dark because of 100ASA, so I did some PP work to bring it where you see it now, but have lots of details to work with.

I tried various things on it, but the original image looked very vibrant (this one), so I am posting this here :)

Hi David
Amazing colours on this rose. You have handled the red and white very well to obtain detail in both. Despite being hand held your image is still sharp. When doing the PP I might have removed the highlights. As you know I prefer small frames. Well done.
