| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I wasn't planning on sharing any cat photos, mainly I've been using them to learn camera settings, then using the photos to learn PP tools. This guy's expression I just kinda liked. I'm thinking I should have cropped a bit more off the top. I tried to be less heavy-handed in Capture NX, I adjusted the light levels and did just a wee bit of unsharp-mask. I'm thinking it will be good enough for my family photo album, but I still have lots to learn. |

Nice position for your cat
Nevertheless I believe that you keep to many space on left, I suggest in workshop a crop format
Hi Dave,
I see that you're relatively new on TL. Welcome "aboard"!!
I think this photo is very nicely presented. Cropping or not, in my POV, is a matter of choice. The detail and sharpness are perfect, such as the BG and DOF. And, last but not least, the expression is simply amazing! I'm a cat photo lover :)
Cats are so funny and expressive.

Hi Dave this is a nice sharp image the soft tones are good with good use of natural light. Just a suggestion, as a rule try to leave the negative space of your images in the direction of your subjects viewing, in other words if the subject is looking to the right then create space on the right. good work and keep posting :)
