[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this 2nd image from along the Willamette River in SW Portland the night after I first visited the location. Once I went home and viewed the image I knew I could do better than the first attempt so I retook the shot with oleasing results as the reflections on the bank and the walkway showed remarked improvement with about a foot difference in setup, and a 45 second shutter speed, also, taken at 1:00 AM with no people standing in the way, and PARKING AVAILABLE.

Hi Steve.

This is a well composed shot. I love a good cityscape. I haven't looked through your other work to see what else you have, but I want to take a closer look at this shot with you. Exposure is good, lines are good, and the title fits well with the sign-age in the foreground. My ONLY question is if your camera allows for control of the Kelvin scale of light temperature as this would allow you to reduce the amount of reds in the image and create one more along the lines of what the eye would see at night. But on the other hand, perhaps this is what you were going for. It's a good photo.

-Steve
