[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one more view of the North Falls at Silver Falls State Park outside of Silverton, Oregon. The previous posting of the North Falls was from further under the falls. This view gives a better view of the lush canyon that the water is cascading into.

PP: Shot in RAW and initially processed in Nikon's Capture NX because some of the vegetation on the far left was a bit dark so I used NX's Control Points to solve that problem. Then brought the image over to CS3 for sizing and framing for TL.

I find it is always a tough call deciding whether to make a waterfall vertical or horizontal - each one has a different quality. I like the vertical format for the feeling of height but this one also works nicely by showing us the environment in general and the foreground details that help to put US in the picture

Excellent work on this one Daniel! This looks like paradise to me! I could live here! Nice details, perfect exposure on the water! I prefer the darker greens, to me when a photo is too bright it washes it out..maybe it's just my eyes!
Nice work!

Hi Daniel,
Excellent format showing this fall in all its environment!
The long exposure make a good fluidity of water. Great range of green colors. Very refreshing image!I like it much! Bravo! Annie
