Hi TrekLens Friends:
I have been busy with my work but just want to say thank you to you all for posting many wonderful and encouraging comments on my works. I cant post images of my clients for obvious reasons ( with some exceptions), so every once in a while I have to go to my archives to look for something.
Here is an image from my archives, and it was a work that I hade done for some time back to show some photographic works. The image is taken in bright sunlight and with the use of Adobe Photoshop filters 'fixed' for over exposures.
At ISO80 with F/3.6 I have tried to defuse the guttering waters in the background. The image has been cropped with 22 feather Marquee to create a soft  glow effects and then lighting filters with 'Omni' settings is applied. Several layers have been used. A B&W version in the Workshop is available for viewing as well.
Thanks for your visits and words of encouragements.
David
NOTE: The reason of the tight crop is that there are other people arround...)

From what you describe David you did a fair bit of P/P work here and it has paid off .. beautiful model and superb presentation .. However I feel it is a little tight to the frame on the left if you were to decrease the inner part of the frame it may work better .. nice work anyway ..

Michael

Hi David,
A beautiful model well captured and some nice PP work, the only thing I would like to see a little more space infront of the model as she appears to be looking at the frame, other than that it great.
Regards Andy

Hello David
This is a very good idea and I like this great expression you show here on a lovely faced Lady and
I love the lighting on her face in this picture.
It is very warm and it brings out the natural beuty . As a Professional Hairdresser( and barber) a compliment for the Classic hairstyle,( however I am sure THAT you did not you ^_^ )
There is so much inner peace and strength, we can see in the Ladies look
Like the French say David.. as a compliment to you (and the Lady) : Chapeau !
Regards
John

C'est classe! Voilà un magnifique portrait.
Naturel, sans de retouches inutiles, juste ce qu'il faut.
J'adore ce style de photos.

Your subject looks like a beautiful flower too! The darkening of the subject and soft glow reduced the details on the fine features of your lovely subject. Still a nicely done work.

Thanks for your visit and comments on my photo, "Belltower". I appreciate it.

Hi David,

When I see this I think:

Classical beauty - this could be because she is beautiful, could be the use of the filter, could be her hairstyle, could be the framing.
Let's say it works together perfectly!

I love the capture itself, but I think I'd have cropped even closer from the back to give her relatively more space in front of her face.
Great vignetting

Hi David, great PP work to take out all the obstructions, bright sunlight, running waters & people & end up with this lovely finished portrait, the subject must have been more than pleasd with the result.I looked at your B&W version
& actually prefer it to the color, just my personal preference not a critique:)

I can see why you did what you did, David - with the feather and such. The lighting effects, however, don't really work for me. Light on her cheeck is spot-on (if you'll pardon the expression ;o)) but around that it's a tad too dark - well no, not too dark but lacking luninescense imo.
As for the model: a true beauty with a lovely smile and a very nice hairstyle.

Hello David, great portrait of this beautiful young woman, I like the soft light and the great exposure, very well done, thanks!

Mario

Hi dear friend,
beautiful light spot on her silky face.
Nice mood in it. She looks so happy and peaceful.
I like her look outside the frame,
maybe just a little more free space in the left side...
just my opinion :)
Best wishes,
Ioana

Hi David
Wonderful photo, lovely light, which gives a quite good portrait photo.
In addition you have presented it in a best way.
In short good work my friend.
Greetings from
Jens.

Hi David,
an interesting portrait.
Personally I feel it would look better if she had been moved a bit more to the right (because she is looking left -- and quite close to the edge, it give a feeling as though she's looking 'out' of the composition).

Best regards, Daniel
