[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While waiting for the Osprey to dive down for another fish for their young, I took the opportunity to make a photo of another animal in pursuit of catching a fish. The Osprey did return and while it was catching a trout, I was able to capture it.

I liked the way she positioned herself on the dead tree stump fully concentrated to catch a fish. She finally did catch an undersized trout and had to return it.

Geweldig zeg, hoe de hengel nog scherp afsteekt tegen de achtergrond. Een hele mooie plaat. Alles klopt: light, vlakverdeling, scherpte-diepte... Toppie!

The "pose" - her stance - and the composition of this shot are both terrific. The DOF is well realised too, that lens has done a great job for you.

My lament would be the brightness of the far bank, in a perfect world the sunlight would be on her back and the far bank would be in shade, but sometimes we have to take what we can get!

Maybe black-and-white would've been the answer?
