[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at John Day Fossils N.P.located in Eastern Oregon. I spent a few days at this location on a TL meet & wished I had taken more time to explore this very photogenic area. This particulr part of the John Day N.P. is not a large area but one of wonderful colours & shapes, which change with the weather conditions.Ienjoyed the colours on this early evening visit.I left in the shadow lower foreground.

Hi Ron,
The contrasting colours of the land and sky are superb, great shot. TFS

Hi Ron,
Looks like someone has set this place on fire! Can only imagine what would happen if someone threw a cigarette out the window. The intense and vivid looking colours work extremely well against the dark and gloomy looking sky. Such a photogenic place by the looks of it. Well seen and taken.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Ronald,
You guys really had beautiful weather while in Oregon. The moody sky has given such great contrast with the Painted Hills. The late light enhanced the colors even more. I like the subtle differences in the layers. The few trees give some idea of the scale.
TFS,
Niek

Hello, Ronald,
great evening light, and nice place to show that! I like contrast between warm and cold coloured areas.
All my best,
Elena
