[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is downtown area of Salt Lake City. On the Far left (blue lights) is the Energy Solutions Arena, up on the hill to the right (yellow glow) is the State capitol, just in front to the right (6 white lit spires) is the Temple - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, then the various hotels and office buildings.

This picture was taken from a vantage point roughly 14 miles accross the valley- Kearns High School.

it seems that the pic suffers from motion blur; or did you heavily crop the original pic? i would expect the pic came out sharper than this since you are using a tripod. one needs a lot of trial-and-errors before achieving a "perfect" shot. i usually use smaller f number (like f/9 or f/10) and longer shutter speed (above 3 secs).
