Sunset on The Great Salt Lake, I shot this one while in motion (again, I was not the driver here), I loved the Shihouette of the island and the sand against the lake and sky.

Taken the same day as my previous post, a few moments apart.

Light and shadow simply beautiful

Hi Sequoia,

Even though it would be sharper had you stopped the car (at least you were not driving!), it's still a stunning photo. I especially like the lines of different light in the reflection of the lake.

With big blocks of colours this is almost abstract in presentation. It is a very effective shot, nicely composed. I think the jet stream is at odds with the overall presentation and I would be tempted to take it out.

Gorgeous warm orange tones Sequoia,
the silhouetted landscape is well placed in the frame.
Very original and elegant image.

Hi Sequoia,

very nice and peaceful scene. I like the mix of subsequent layers: black beach, steel-gray sea, black hills, orange sky. Passing plane is a very good accent here, unlike tghe birds on the left - they look like dust and should be cloned out imo. Also crop of half of the bottom, black area would help - the photo is now a bit too "heavy" *s* Nevertheless still a moody, good work! tfs
