A short and informative note, defines the picture wonderfully, Barbara!
The lush green is the color to enjoy here, however, the center of attraction is - the artistic dried stem of this tree! I like the way Nature takes some hard decisions.

Hello Barbara,I love the very sharp focus on the twisted tree trunk and its' greenery.The blurred yet colourful bg puts the tree into context.

Muszę powiedzieć, że mnie też zaskakiwały podobne "znaleziska" w miejscach gdzie były np. gołe skały. Mam nawet zamiar pokazać je tutaj.

Zdjęcie jest wspaniałe pod wzgledem technicznym, świetnie skomponowane, no i ładnie opisane :)

Quite an interesting shot.
Nice exposure and contrast. Good solid tones, well detailed shadows and highlights area. Interesting depth, the slight blur (out of focus) background bring more attention to the forground scene. Well composed, nice angle and crop.
The colors are well balanced and saturated.

Te drzewa zyja tam cudem - walka o przetrwanie pieknie pokazana Basiu.
Bardzo podoba mi sie punkt z ktorego fotografowalas - jest tu ciekwae tlo z glebia, a sam bohater pracy - prezentuje sie wspaniale.
Dobrze technicznie - kolory i ostrosc super, tylko tak dalej.
