[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I wasnt sure if I should post this one or not, just because drug overdose is a seirous thing. I decided to post anyway. I figure it's a statement and a message at the same time. Try not to veiw this as offensive but mabye as educational, After all drugs can kill.

Over all effect I was going for was the look of a police photo.

a very powerful social photograph !!!
to be honest the quality is not like that of a police photograph. i think it's much superior than that.
this is the kind of a photograph a photojournalist( of course the photojournalist's photo would have a true event) on an assignment for time or newsweek or something. the only thing that would differ is the tone maybe

Kidding aside, this is a very powerful and significant image to our society. So many people abuse the use of drugs, whether they are medicinal or not. Congratulations on such a strong photo and note.

Just an idea: maybe next time try having the model with her arm extended, palm up, with an empty pill bottle in her hand.

Such magnitude! Very strong and the result is a rude awakening, which is what you were striving for. I must say the photo is very effective, and a tad hard to look at just becuase of it's trenchant content. How did you get the concept? And most off all how did you get the model and setting? Your photo was done very well since I find it hard too look at.
