Skyline

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this picture in the late afternoon at one of the many parks in Seattle. It was quite a hot spot for photographers, and my little Canon camera paled in comparison to some of the digital SLRs with lenses the size of my arm attached to them that others were using!
Anyway, I think this picture of the skyline really says a lot about the city because of the clouds (Seattle is known for its gray, rainy weather) and because of the trees -- Seattle is a very beautifully landscaped city, full of trees. Another note about the photo -- despite its appearance, the Space Needle is NOT the tallest building in Seattle. Rather, the Columbia Tower is Seattle's tallest, and the tallest on all of the west coast of the United States! From this perspective, the Columbia Tower can be seen just behind and to the right of the space needle.
I played with the color balance and brightness/contrast. |

I have 410 so dont appologise for the size of the camera, they do a fantastic job out of all proportion to their size. I us my sons Samsung more now but my little canon still gets around, at the moment my daughter is having fun with it but it usually lives in the big cameras bag so it can be used too. I like useing both cameras to take the same shot and then decide which I would rather have and quite often it is the little ones view. Certainly with the cats where its only drawback is the so slow recovery time that you only get one chance of a shot. TFS
