[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yes, this is probably the quintessential photo of the Seattle skyline, but it was my first time in this beautiful city, so had to take the shot. Spent a few days here and only on our last day, close to sunset, did Mt. Rainier finally make an appearance, visible on the right, rising above some low cloud cover.

This was taken from Highland Park in the Queen Anne neighborhood, the Space Needle is at left, and the downtown just a bit beyond, and Mt. Rainier fifty-five miles to the south.

More Seattle pics to come.

Bob,
I like the diagonal feel of the buiding tops from top left to bottom right. Nice catch of the American flag. I like the low clouds too. I have never been to Seattle, was it hot and rainy like you'd expect this time of year?

Hi Bob
A lovely capture of downtown Seattle with Mount Rainier in the background. Excellent detail, composition, lighting. Seattle looks like a modern city, similar to Calgary.
