[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rather than have the traditional "guest-book" for attendees to sign at their wedding, my son Philip and his wife Jessica displayed this picture and asked the guests to sign the border of the frame.

The picture was placed in Jessica's parents car after the wedding and I snapped a shot of it through the car window unaware that I was getting my own reflection.

Phil & Jess were married on May 5th of this year (2006). What a wonderful lady Jessica is and we are so happy she is part of our family.

On a related note, I kind of hope that Philip someday has an "active" son much like he was growing up. Yes, there is a reason I went gray young. I don't really wish this on Jessica but I'm told she was a bit of a "pill" growing up too... As they say: "What goes around, comes around!" ;o)

God's best,

Tim

I've always heard it called "The mother's curse" "Someday you'll have a child just like you!" and it seems to come true usually. Funny thing is those "Pill" parents usually are more strict than those parents who weren't that way.
I love this photo of the photo guestbook, especially with your reflection, it's a nice documentary style of a special moment in your family's life. TFS!

I agree with LCannon, its a wonderful documentary style image. I also like the person walking away. It would have been amazing if you had captured Phil and Jessica walking away, in the reflection, showing how your little boy is growing up and beginning his own life with her.
Love it regardless. Thanks for sharing the image and story.
