[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have always had an appreciation for the beauty of the sky, be it a sunrise/sunset or unusual cloud formations.

When I "experience" these awesome moments, I often think of God and His wonderful creation that He gave for all to see and enjoy. Lenticular are my favorite clouds due to their unique, sleek and smooth form and the rarity of their appearance.

These lenticular clouds took on a different form and appearance in a very short period of time. I posted a couple shots on Trekearth some time ago and saved this one for TL now. Take note of the difference between these photos and realize that these shots all were taken within 2 or 3 minutes of each other.

God's best,

Tim

Great capture Tim, don't think I have ever seen clouds like. Great composition and point of view too. Looks almost like a UFO. Well done.

I too stand in awe when I see the sunsets and sunrises around me. Every day is different. In fact, every couple of minutes they can change. What a wonderful Painter we have who gives us these changing scenes and colours daily.
Good shot here of the clouds, Tim. TFS.

Truly an special cloud formation you captured for us - I would say this looks like a Zeppeliner - Truly a fine work of the creator - thanks Tim.

The whole world speaks of an awesome Maker!

I think sometimes we all need to look up more. The beauty is breathtaking sometimes. I didn't know what these kind of clouds were called, but have seen them occasionally. Nicely captured with the white tree branches framing the shot.

I remember seeing very similar cloud formations on a recent trip to New Zealand. There were several dotted around the sky. Very unusual, but I wonder exactly how they were formed??

Awesome Tim, well captured.

Barry
