My adorable great-neice, Serenity Dawn Brewer, passed from this life into the arms of our Lord-Jesus on Sat. June 10, 2005. In her nearly 10 months here on earth she suffered more than many people do in an entire (long) lifetime. Serenity developed a malignant brain tumor as well as one on a kidney at about 2-3 months of age. She spent much of her remaining, short lifetime at Children's Hospital in Seattle and the floor nurses there called her their "little angel." She almost never cried. I last held her on Memorial Day (May 30) and she moaned in discomfort and pain but she didn't cry. We, her family, have cried many a tear since she left us but we know she is in a far better place now and we have the hope of seeing her again someday in heaven.

God's best,

Tim

I'm sorry about your loss! I checked the gallery and clicked on this photo thinking, 'what a sweet baby'... when I read you note, my heart sank deep inside. We never know why such precious ones as Serenity Dawn was born only to live for a short time with so much suffering. But one thing we know now, she has probably brought strength and joy to many who otherwise would not have known strength and joy as they do now. She continues to bring joy, a smile, and serenity to our hearts. I know into mine for sure and I didn't even know her. Now I do.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful soul with us.
Be strong.
Dee

A beautiful momment to remember precious Serenity.
Serenity is also with our 6 week old son, Aaron, who died after a struggle to pull through a surgerey to fix the problem with continued surgeries to turn a two chambered heart into four, 12 years ago.
My deepest condolences to you and your family as you grieve the loss of a precious one. God's peace and love and comfort be wrapped around you and your family.

My Condolonces go to you and the family that experienced this loss. I like how you framed the photo. Nice effect.

As I wipe my tears, please accept my condolences.

Thanks for sharing your loss. The framing is most appropriate for the nice tribute to the little angel. God bless...

It's cruel the destiny sometimes! She were beautifull and looking full of life on that picture! It's bad! Photo give not only happy news. But i hope you have help for now, and better experience later! Take cares of you!

Tim, i think there's a reason for everything, and i think she showed so much bravery and courage that those who loves her learnt a lot from her within the short term of time she is with all of u. my thoughts are with u. take care.

Being that i am a childless mother I can empathise with your pain. The photo is lovely and She is gorgoeus, Heaven is now so very happy.
In the coldness of loss i hope you find warmth in the memories and knowledge that you'll see her again.
Maybe she'll meet our Emanuel Sebastian.

I'm so sorry for your families loss Tim. She looks like she brought much joy to her family with her beautiful smile. My heart and prayers go out too you and your family at this time, as I wipe away the tears. These photos will be very precious to all of you. Thank you for sharing this beautiful angel with all of us too, her loss touches all of us who have lost anyone, especially a child.
Blessings and Prayers for your family,
Lori

very emotional to learn about this image,
I feel the pain of loosing someone so near and dear,
and Serenity was yet soo young,
Shes in a way better place now, looking down at all of us, now in Heaven she will smile after leaving her suffering behind.
Though you loose someone you love so young, we believe they turn into your guardian Angels.

I pray for thee.
God Bless
Amen
