Old Faithful from the Lodge

| OK, time to get back to photography! But I think I'll start with an image from last year that I can't believe I never posted. This is shot from the porch of the Old Faithful Lodge, while I was waiting out a short rain. But after having seen Niek's shot of the porch at the Glacier park Lodge, it reminded me of this shot. |

A very nice point of view and a nice frame for the famous geyser. You will notice that it is drizzling as there are no people by the bench that sorrounds the Old Faithful when usually there is a crowd.

Hi Mike,
I can see why it reminded you of my photo. I do like the effect of the empty chairs and the fact they face the old lady. The flash gave you some nice warm colors in the different types of wood. A pity that the sky is so bright since it won't show the steam that well. I am really surprised about the few people that are watching. About two weeks later it was packed.
TFS,
Niek
P.S. A small pity about the chair touching the frame
