Hello Mike !
A bonsai in a natural environment, it seems to be. Lovely catch with these dark greens against the rocky landscape. trees are well spreaded on these walls.
Bravo!

Hi Mike,
beautiful composition. I love this composition. Excellent POV giving a lot of prominency to the tree with fantastic bacground. Good dispersed light and colours range adding some drammatism to the shot. tfs

Wonderfull POV. Gives great perspective of the cliff face.

An interesting shot. The colours and texture are particularly interesting; the textures are awesome. I also think that the most significant object in the image (the tree) is in silhouette. The darkness creates a sort of mystery. This matches the darkness of the sky adding to the dreamy feel and creating an image that is suggestive of some place far more exotic than the Grand Canyon (although to me that is quite exotic in itself- but this is not the usual perspective of the place).
This is a magnificent photo of the canyon wall. It's very dramatic with excellent POV.
