[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had been hearing the hummingbirds buzzing my fountain each morning before sunrise. On this day I got a cup of coffee and went out to join them for their morning bath. I took this picture with the camera hand held from about ten feet. Hummingbirds are not intimidated by much and this young bird showed no interest in my photographic efforts. Coffee, a folding chair and a warm robe enabled me to get this intimate shot of something few rarely see.

Nice shot Dea of the humming bird with clarity, good DOF and point of view. I like the way the wings are spread since you hardly get to see them. I think this is the Rufus variety. It must be a cold morning. Good post.
