Hi Roger,
The tilt in the shot was the way to go! It really gives her a mysterious look in my opinion. I like all of the lines in her dress. They seem to compliment the entire "tilt" effect. Placement of her hands is nice too. This has a very 1940's feel to me. Black and white is effective here as I think that the "flow" of the subject to the table would not have been as evident in color. Great job. Lisa

Hi Roger,
The capture is great and the presentation is original. Good job.
I'm a bit surprised that you had to use noise reduction with such a quality camera !!

Hi Roger!
Very interesting interpretation! One light source here gives nice shapes, that are matching very good to the black background!

Hi Roger,
Wow, this is seductive and again lends itself to the retro look. The diagonal framing and tilt are nice touches. I agree with using one light source, and building yourself up to more complex lighting setups. One thing I would like to point out is that there appears to be some haloing in the background, and IMO it might be worth the trouble to clone it out so that the bg is perfectly black. In any case, this is superb work.
Best regards,
Werner

Hi Roger,
The diagonal pose works very nicely !
This is so glamour!
Excellent use of the lighting set-up. I like the diffuse play of shadows on your model.
Very sharp and luminous portrait! Annie
I like this portrait a lot.I am just annoyed a little bit by the fact that her feet are cut off the picture. But the light is gorgeous.I enjoy the beautiful geomitrical designs of her dress. The composition in diagonale is very pleasant. Thanks for sharing.Best regards,
Michel

To get an almost-full-body shot with the 85mm you must be quite some distance back from Kit?
Makes sense about learning to be proficient with one light before graduating to multiples - in 2006 I had a single 500w halogen as my "light source" - learned a lot from it!!
The tilt is certainly interesting, it adds interest to the shot - and the directional quality of the light gives good dimension and depth.

Hi, Roger -
Great image - Kit is a superb model with lots of appeal and sensuality. The subdued lighting and generally dark surroundings provides a great sense of mystique. Tilting her into a diagonal was really inspired. Very sharp, and the light brings out the contours of her dress and the smoothness of her skin. Excellent!

I like the angle of this shot It is seductive pose and the B&W adds to the seductive nature of the shot Probably because the lighting focuses attention on Kit Nice work once again
