| Old Town San Diego on Halloween. This was shot with the widely-dismissed Canon ef 22-55 zoom. This lens was marketed for use with Canon's APS camera, but I bought it refurbished for use as a cheap wide zoom for my EOS film cameras. On film it was just OK, but actually isn't half-bad on APS-C cameras. However, f4 is very limiting. 1/15 is my limit on hand-held exposures if the lens isn't image-stabilized. The 10d body is fairly massive which helps steady it for longer exposures. |

Hi Gilbert,
Wow, you really succeeded in capturing the mood of that moment !
The exposure is very good, and the colors are great too. Good note with it.
Joop!

Natural looking colors nicely reflecting the mood of the place. For a non-stabilized system, this is a really satisfying shot at 1/15s.
looks like a place where i wanna be..
