[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This skater was patiently waiting for a friend, sitting on the hearth in the Centennial Lakes Warming House. No fire was lit this evening, so the reflection of his waiting was very clear.

Reposted to compensate for darkness of original photo. I'm having problems in that I use Mac and Safari or Firefox as browsers and the images I see on these systems are lighter than they are displayed on PC's with Internet Explorer even though the calibration colors on the bottom of the webpage look the same. So I'm guessing in the dark that this will be an acceptable display on a PC. kitflorendo brought this to my attention, and I looked on my PC at work today, and the difference is very large. Please tell me if I have succeeded in clearing up some of the gloom, but have not removed the atmosphere.

Hi Lois- I like this shot- nice job capturing the skater's reflection- from the thumbnail it looked as if you were looking through a window- nice job!

Best Wishes,
Steve
