Here is a shot of the skating rink in Central Park. I adjusted contrast and added a gradient to fill in the plain bright sky in the background.

Hi Amy, wonderful shot of this very well known skating rink!
A classic shot, with different planes of ice, trees and buildings.

Well done

Marleen

Interesting how the skaters are dwarfed by the buildings surrounding Central Park. The nit-picky in me would probably have cloned out the heads of the people in the right bottom corner. Otherwise, it is a nice postcard for New York. Well done!

Hello Amy!

This is a real beauty. Of course I love the skating rink with all the people like a Christmas decoration. I like the curve of the rink and the Central park around it. But the cityscape and the superb light in the background is the best part of it as far as I am concerned (*_*)

I am looking forward discovering your next shots,
Cheers!
Robert

I know you were striving to get the skyline, and you did a great job, but I really like the positions of the little people stopped in action, too! Can't believe there are still leaves on the trees! Nice colors, there.

Good grief, has the Donald just totally taken over NY?!

Very, very nice, Amy. TFS!
Gayle :)
