You should have posted earlier. It's so colourful and sharp, that I can almost smell the nature, the trees. :)
Very good contrast and POV. Incredible DOF, as I can clearly see the leaves and trees on the background. Nice frame.

This is a beautiful scene - what is it about roads and the idea that we can't see where they lead? It's a metaphor that resonates in all of us.

Oh Robert, this is so beautiful, when I looked and saw you had photos of "my " Vermont I never expected this..makes me homesick!! :o) Used to ride my horse down roads like this everyday..I am going to have to save this photo..Glad you posted it ..course I'm just seeing it now but I've got lots to catch up on!! ha ha

Further to your comment on one of my few shots, I was curious to see what you were doing, and I browsed some of your galleries.

I have seen many photos from you, and that one if one of my favorites. It reminds me of the fabulous colours of the fall in this region and the legendary light of New England. I spent one year studying in Boston. I did rent a car a couple times to travel along the north coast of New England and back through the land.

The choice of the frame is perfect to enhance the magic of the picture.

I end up wondering where you could find so much light under so many trees !
