OK , something new today. I am experimenting photo stitching for the first time. Well for that experience I needed to dig in past photos.

This one is made of three photos. It was taken the same day as my 300th shot. As we were heading up North from Peacham, we arrived at Danville, located on Road No. 2. We then turned East to join the Interstate for a faster return home. At the exit of the village a rest area, with a nice panoramic view was very inviting. So we did stop. As you can appreciate on this photo., it was indeed a very cloudy autumn day. When we were in the woods in the small roads, it was perfect for a more balanced luminosity. In the open air like here, colors were not as spectacular.

I used autostitch to do the job.

Technically,

Once 3 photos were stiched together, I had to crop them from all sides as the stiched photos are looking alike three open books stiched together.
With Photoshop CS:
1) Adjusted dark tones 40% Light Tones 50%
2) Color saturation + 10%
3) Tint - 5%
4) With the stamp tool , filled up a few corners.

With Photofiltre added frame and title.

Comments, Tips to improve my technique and critiques welcomed as usual.

Take care everybody!
Robert

very well done, Robert, tfs, M, (*_*)

sorry out of goodies doh...

Nina

Très bonne première expérience ! Très bien réussi ce panoramique, excellent. Merci,

Mario

Hey Robert,
This looks to me like it belongs in the Vermont Dept. of travel & tourisms official travel guide. It's a really inviting picture. I like the curved line seperating the trees from the field, and the wonderful variety of colors here. But most of all, I'm liking that sky. It really sets an autumn mood. I'm not sure that the car really enhances the picture in any way, but it's not too much of a distraction.
The stitch job is a success! It's really hard to tell that it's not just one picture.
Nicely done!

Très bonne première expérience de photo panoramique, Robert. On reconnaît ton style avec les couleurs et la composition. J'aime bien cette courbe et le ciel bas, comme on dit par chez-nous! Merci pour le détail de la technique. Bravo! Annie

Oh my god, Rob!!!
This is just beautiful!!! I'm speechless!
The landscape is breathtaking and the colours are so warm and vivid that you think you are there, too. The tree colours are amazing! The sky is awesome! I LOVE IT!!
Congratulations, my friend!!!

ps. I prefer the Large Version; it's like a poster, a wallpaper... :)

Hein 3 photos! Mais c'est très bien fait! Un peu sur le principe de la photo panoramique! Bravo pour le beau paysage! C'est bien présenté!

This is a great Autumn scene Robert and the stitching looks pretty good.

Hello Robert,

Good job on your first stitching project. The colors are very rich and I really like the dramatic fall clouds overhead. Nicely done Robert. I use autostitch as well and I am happy with the results it produces. Great job Robert!!!
Have a great rest of the week!!!

Love and Peace always!
