Hose, Reel and Wheel

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Still walking around the Victorian pumper on the porch of the Montrose Fire House recording it in bits and pieces. My attention was drawn to the painted but rusting wheels, nicely textured, and to the contrasting smoothness of the hose reel and hose. So, of course, I took a picture.

I can see that you thought about this one and the final crop is a composition that is quite good, save that I would have taken a chunk off the top to place the 'central strut' on an upper third, at the same time cutting into the coiled hose, removing that yellowish item in the process.
Focus on the main object is very good at this end - have we come to a happy medium and crossed her palm with silver? Thus, I see the corrosion pitting quite well.
The whole thing gets a little disturbed by the very bright background peeking through. Don't know what to suggest. perhaps I'd have taken a step to the right and minimised it? Also, you have noticed my intentional tilts of late ... try that?
Manila Jury went off for a JolliBee lunch and left me alone so I pondered but decided on a 7/10 and a smack for tiny, tiny title/ident which, even for me, is subdued to the point of invisibility.
The texture of rusted wheel catch my eyes and lead to white color hose reel and deeper into background. A good point of view.
