[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another photo taken aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt. I was on the flightdeck taking photos of launching aircraft when these guys talked me into taking their photo. We usually didn't take these type of shots because they wouldn't be published. We were told "the people want to see working images of Navy Sailors". Which makes sense, but I couldn't resist and I'm glad I did.

I just adjusted levels, cropped, and saved for web

Magnifique portrait de ces trois beaux gars. Je suis fascinée par la précision et la qualité de votre photo. Les tons de jaune et d'ocre de cette image donne une impression de douceur.
Bravo Stacey...

You are right Stacey. I'm glad to see these people on duty. Photographs of these men are rare! Good work! TFS

I really like the tone of your pictures. Each and every one of them has this color feel that I just don't know how to reproduce. Lovely shot.

Men at work!
Stacey, you got 'em posing without actually making it look as if they were posing, if you know what I mean ;o). I agree with Richard, you have a special way of handling the light. As it obviously was taken in harsh sunlight, you did an excellent job. TFS.

good composition here and good capyure of there expresions!gladd you posted this picture :o)
good shot!

They want to publish working Navey sailors but I think maybe they should publish then being happy and having a little fun too. I like your shot, the lighting is good and the sailors look like they were happy to pose for you.

Good natural light on good natural smiles. The navy must be crazy if it doesn't want to show sailors this happy. It's not as if they were smoking or drinking, is it? They are so clearly just relaxing - but look very much "on the job" and professional to me.
PS Just noticed that Dennis made the same remark.

Fantastic portrait. The lighting and composition are great. The smiles are relaxed and the group exudes a sense of comradery. Well done.

Good portrait, "top gun" overthere.

Hey, nice guys Stacey. With 4 sons of my own I'm sure their parents would like to see their photos published. I reckon quite a few people would like to see this sort of photo you show us here. Well done...
