Here I pause for a minute to try and put some more sunshine in your partly cloudy home. I admire your courage and bravoury facing the elements. Going through rough times with your head high and looking forward for better things. A sunset has a way to put hope in anybody's heart. May this setting be the start of many more bright and sunny years to come for you.

You have such a lovely view from your sunroom. I admire your strength after all what you have been through with the storm Ivan. Glad you are still uploading pics.
The colours of this sunset have been captured very well. I like the sihlouetted plants, and the sun's rays behind the cloud is great. You handled the lighting conditions very well.

Nice use of a direct-into-the-light shot. The shrubbery is a nice addition and the rays from the cloud have an almost biblical look - I expect to see Elijah coming down the beam!

Very nice sunset, nice colors. I like it in the branches, the sunlight going through. It is true what you are saying, sometimes we don't have to go far away to find beauty, it is just besides us.

Sunsets are some of my favorite subjects and you captured this one very well. No need to travel afar when you have such beauty right in your back yard. You always tell such interesting stories about them too. I hear that sunrises make good subjects too, but I will never know!!!
