Fourth Street disappearing into the swirling black floodwaters of the Red River. We reached the level today that the NWS was predicting we would crest at, but we're two days early, and the waters are still rising in Fargo, 79 miles upstream.

Storms and rain are predicted for tomorrow through Friday, and the overland flooding is already so bad in the countryside surrounding the city, in some places it looks like the sea. I don't even know what to say, I have never seen anything like this in my short lifetime.

The waiting game continues...

Hello Brian,

Amazing shot of this unfortunate event. The colors and light are beautiful and I love the perspective. My thoughts are with those affected and I hope that the waters receed very soon. Excellent journalistic depiction and great notes.

Love and PEace always
Kevin
