Great notes Pranab, wonderful photo, the play of the shawdows, the barren tree all lend an air of quiet and sadness. Your 'model' portrays the feelings very well, she has her head down like she is feeling sad. (I hope she was paid the standard model's fee...lol!!!) TFS,

Hi Pranab
I like the composition of the tree in ths shot which is heavy on the right and weak in centre from where the main subject (your daughter) is standing. The light coming behind the trees casting good shade on the ground. Your daughter seems moving slowly must be thinking of a good trip. The note is useful as well.

The photograph looks sad somehow. The lengthening shadows heighten the effect. The tree seems to bid farewell to the 'Lucy' ...

this is really a great capture. I agree with the others that the colours are lovely, but as soon as I saw this one, I imagined it in B&W...it brings out the mood created by superb moment and composition. I did a WS to show you, hope you don't mind!
